''Recreation'' was my BA diploma work. It is series of virtual reality dioramas. Each scene gives the viewer a glimpse at how social anxiety disorder works in supposedly positive social environments such as holidays, wellness, restaurants etc., and how people with ''SAD'' may perceive these settings.

I'd like to expand my horizons in virtual realities by creating atmospheric scenarios using 3D models and animation.

I'm interested in people's feelings of discomfort when being together, in the boundaries of physical proximity, in what is too close or too far?
In aesthetics, the uncanny valley is a hypothesized relation between an object's degree of resemblance to a human being and the emotional response to the object. The concept suggests that humanoid objects that imperfectly resemble actual human beings provoke uncanny or strangely familiar feelings of eeriness and revulsion in observers. I would like to implement this notion into my work.
Playing with the concept of the Uncanny valley
I recreate my drawn characters in a realistic manner to use them as basis for possible 3d models.
Example for hyper realistic skin texture render
Hyper realist sculptures by
Margriet van Breevoort

her rectangular distorted sculptures resemble the way I depict bodies.

I want to sculpt bodies in 3d using authentic skin textures and faces that i drew and convert to realistic models

The abilities of virtual reality were explored the most so far by the game and the porn industry.

The two examples above, Tore Kanabe`s ''Coffee without words'' creates a cringey silent date scenario, while VR Bangers plays with the idea of creating a personal theatrical experience.
